DVTI Project Resident Representative (ResRep) in Lagos
NIDO-Swiss is looking for an experienced person for immediate full time employment to work as its resident representative to coordinate its Diaspora vocational training initiative (DVTI) project in Nigeria. Station is Yaba and Ikorodu axis in Lagos, Nigeria
Requirements:
· University graduate with degree in Business Admin. or project management and at least 5 years verifiable working experience in human resource management or public administration.
· Flexible and ability to work in an organized manner
· Sound knowledge of good record keeping
· Ready to travel, mostly within Lagos but occasionally outside Lagos State
· Have excellent human relations skills, time conscious and well organized
· Be ready to produce two guarantors for skill and character attestation
· Good command of English language in spoken and written
· Be ready to produce police criminal record covering the last five years
Job description:
· clarify partners needs and support them in assignment development in line with the contract they signed with DVTI
· Ensure proper monitoring and support for volunteers on ground in Nigeria
· Further develop and clarify volunteers guideline Facilitate and monitor purchases and repair of tools and equipment
· Implement activities according to YPO, monitor and report on activities progress on monthly basis. Liaise and facilitate processes with existing partners
· Develop ideas/procedures for alumni tracer system
· Facilitate and prepare arrival of incoming missions. Engage with partners to organize training workshops in line with workshop and practical orientation of the DVTI project focus
· Collect and organize further information on TVET sector across Nigeria - knowledge management
· Facilitate the organization of training and workshop of experts and volunteers
· Any other assignments commensurate to the position of a ResRep
